There are several ways to get to Homer:

By Car
Homer is about a 5-hour drive from Anchorage, covering 225 scenic miles on the Sterling Highway. There are frequent opportunities to stop along the way to admire the scenery and stretch your legs. Stay alert for moose while driving! -
By Plane
From the Anchorage airport, you can take a quick 40-minute commuter flight to Homer. -
By Bus
The Alaska Bus Company offers daily service from May 15 – August 31 between Anchorage and Homer. Check their schedule or book online, here, or call them directly, 907-299-6806.
