Half-Day Halibut Fishing Tour
Morning and afternoon trips available
Duration: 5-6 hours
Departures: 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., every day (except Wednesdays)
Catch Limit: 2 halibut per person
Fishing Experience: No experience necessary!
Gear: We provide all fishing gear and bait
Fishing License: You must have an Alaskan fishing license (purchase online here)

Embark on a half-day halibut charter in Homer, AK
Good News: Half-day halibut fishing is back for 2021 and you are still able to keep two halibut each day. Yay!!! With two departure times available most days, we are ready to get you back out on the water and into some great fishing. Half-day trips are super successful, ton’s of fun, and extremely affordable. Feel free to bring your family, friends and neighbors. You will have just the right of time to get two delicious halibut and still plan for other great activities the same day. In the 5 to 6 hours you will be with us we will travel between 20 and 25 miles each way to get you into some fantastic fishing. We even provide all the fishing gear and free filleting of your catch.

We are able to customize nearly any trip to your liking. If you have ideas and dreams, we have boats. Together we can make a memorable day for any occasion, family reuinions, conventions or conferences, wedding parties, church groups, endless possibilities. Your day on the water can range from hot and sunny to very wet and cold. There is lots of room on all our vessels to bring extra gear.
When joining us on our fishing adventures we recommend that you bring:
- Extra batteries or a charger (there are 110-v outlets onboard)
- Layers of warm clothing and hat and gloves
- Sunscreen if you burn easily
- If you get seasick we recommend you take something to alleviate your symptoms
- Our fishing vessels provide coffee and tea but there are no snacks or drinks on board, so please bring your own water
- You will also need to purchase a fishing license prior to your trip
